What is EIP?
EIP is the Early Intervention Program. This is a state funded program designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level in reading or math.
How are students selected for the program?
Students are identified to participate in the EIP program to ensure their success in obtaining the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance. In addition to teacher input, different screening tools were used. These may have included: Georgia Milestones scores, EIP reading and math rubrics, Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) indicators, Iowa Test of Basic Skills reports, and Fulton County instructional Assessments.
When will I know how my child is progressing?
For each semester, I will send home a progress report that will update you on your child's progress.
